Unlike
the ollie or ollie kick-flip, a frontside 180 has to be practiced while rolling.
The speed helps turn the board 180 degrees in the air.
So, to start,
gain some speed.
Perform an ollie, and, at takeoff, start a foward rotation.
Your upper body must lead the way so that your entire body makes the turn and
remains centered over the board.
When you land, try to land on both wheels
at the same time.
You will be in a fakie position, which means you will
be in your standard position but rolling backwards.
